The University of Hartford landed their third commitment late Sunday night when six-foot-three guard Dustin Clarke from Avery County High School in Newland, North Carolina verballed to head coach John Gallagher. Clarke averaged 26 points, 6 assists, and 5 steals per game as a junior and was named North Carolina 2A Player of the Year in the process. Fairfield University scored their second commitment in the class of 2011 on Saturday when Kevin Thomas committed to the Stags. St. Mark's junior Alex Murphy trimmed his list to seven schools last week -- Arizona, BC, Duke, Florida, Kansas, North Carolina and West Virginia.
